What is the Cambridge International Curriculum? What are the implications of studying the A or AS Levels if an Indian student wishes to continue higher studies in India and/or Overseas?

If an Indian student wishes to Study AS or A levels to continue higher studies in India and/or Overseas then these would be the implication.
First let us take the Indian Scenario:
-There is lot of rote learning and in depth concepts in CBSE & application of understanding in CICSE whereas AS & A levels has understanding,skill development ,knowledge and its application which means there is are chances of higher order thinking skills,analytical and thinking skills.
- - AS & A levels do not prepare for Indian Competitive exams like NEET and AIEEE and other exams as well.
- - The Cambridge curriculum is very expensive which means not all indian families can afford it.
- - It is very difficult for the AS & A students to take admissions for their undergraduation in India because Most of the time,the results of AS & A levels are out in the month of August hence they have to take provisional admissions in colleges based on predictive scores.
- - Also its difficult to choose the subjects that the students would like to take for the Undergraduation because generally in AS & A level they are able to choose subjects from different streams.
Let us take the Overseas Scenario:

- -Studying overseas could again prove to be very expensive as it would include course fee, lodging, fooding and other expenses.
- - Has the opportunity to have mutual sharing of his/her knowledge and ideas with the bright minds.
- -There is a cultural clash and the student might not feel comfortable with the ambience.
- - There are chances of student feeling lonely and loosing interest in studies.
